Tia Thao, originally from Laos, moved to Oregon in 2001 and began farming on 2.5 acres in Aloha. She started at the Portland Farmers Market with mushrooms and produce, and expanded into flowers by 2006. Today, Tia and her family manage 20 acres, specializing in dahlias and mixed bouquets.
